'Guess Who' & 'Curious Case' Snag Perry Nominations

Sending a major, huge, GINORMOUS congrats to Darlene C Ellis for her Perry Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play for her role of Tillie in Guess Who's Coming To Dinner. Also receiving nominations: Diane L. Parker and Andy Gordanier - Outstanding Sound Designer of a Play Laurie Mullen Wood - Outstanding Costume Design for a Play Crystal Coddington - Props Bill Sesselberg - Lighting Congrats are also in order for Sudipta Bhawmik, as The Curious Case of a Casual Terrorist garnered a Perry Award nomination for Outstanding Production of an Original Play. The Perry Awards will take place September 16th in Rahway, NJ. Kudos to all the nominees.

A 'Breathless' Victory

Breathless came away with Best Performance at the 2018 Female Feedback Film Festival held at Regal Cinemas in Downtown LA (July 5, 2018). The above video is the post-screening feedback session. Listening to the responses confirms to me that we accomplished our goals on that bitter cold weekend in Brooklyn back in 2017. I told director Anaiis Cisco that she created magic. Cheers.

AGP is T-R-O-Y Once Again

In 2016, I was cast as Troy Maxon in Fences. Scared out of my mind, I accepted the challenge, and had a rewarding and memorable experience. Being my own worst critic (in spite of all the accolades I received), I knew there were some things that I could have improved on. Now, I get my chance, as I have been called upon to return to this iconic role in the Bridge Players Production of the play directed by Gwen Ricks-Spencer. I also get the golden opportunity to share the stage again with the incomparable Diane L. Parker as Rose. We will perform eight shows from September 28th to October 13th, Fridays and Saturdays at 8p, Sundays at 3p, at the Broad Street United Methodist Church, 36 East Broad
