Reunited... And I Feels So Good
The Cast and crew of Fences got back together last night in Somerset, NJ for the NJACT Perry Awards. Reminiscing over our tremendous run more than made up for not coming away with a trophy, despite having the most nominations in the history of the awards with ten. Our set designer Tim James (left) did win Outstanding Sound Design in a Musical for American Idiot, but his biggest win came later in the show, as he proposed to his girlfriend onstage. Shoutout also to Judi Parish, director of my other nominated play, The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, winning for Outstanding Sound Design in a Play.
