'Salesman' Comes To SVP
Somerset Valley Players presents Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, the chronicle of the last days of Willy Loman, a failing salesman, who cannot understand how he failed to win success and happiness. Through a series of tragic soul-searching revelations of the life he has lived with his wife, his sons, and his business associates, we discover how his quest for the "American Dream" kept him blind to the people who truly loved him. A thrilling work of deep and revealing beauty that remains one of the most profound classic dramas of the American theatre. I will be playing the role of Willy's brother Ben, and am honored to be working with fellow actors that I have admired for some time; DiShawn Gandy as Willy, Mimi B. Francis as Linda, Darin Frank Earl II as Happy, and also working once again with Malik Abdul Khaaliq as Biff and Serena Smith-Williams as Letta. Directed by Diane L. Parker.
This will be a three weekend run at Somerset Valley Players, 689 Amwell Road (Rte 514) in Hillsborough, NJ from October 18th to November 3rd - Fridays and Saturdays at 8p, and Sundays at 2p.$20 tickets for Adults, $18 for Seniors and Students, available now at http://www.svptheatre.org/
