SHAKESPEARE'S LOST MASTERPIECE

2019 NJACT PERRY AWARD WINNER - OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL PLAY

5... 4... 3... 2... 1... LAUNCH!!!


The New Jersey Creative Arts Collaborative (NJCAC) is a non-profit organization whose goal is to inform, inspire and illuminate artists of color by sharing and broadening cultural awareness through the creation of original content and partnership opportunities with avocationals, students, and professionals. The group, founded by Diane L. Parker and Gwen Ricks-Spencer, held their official Launch Party yesterday at the Two River Theater in Red Bank, NJ. The event was broadcast via Facebook Live, and hosted by yours truly alongside actress Maria Diaz. Diane and Gwen gave the insight and details of what NJCAC is all about during the broadcast, as well as showcase some of the talent on their Artists Creating Excellence (ACE) roster, including singers Lynette Sheard and Darryl S. Thompson. saxophonist Charles Dixon, spoken word artist Lionel M. Macauley, and African Diaspora painter M. Drue Williams. They also announced their upcoming events in the spring of 2020; the production of Regina Taylor's Crowns directed by Gwen, a Motown Revue with Diane at the helm, and the inaugural Black Arts Festival.
