Troy & Rose Together Again For A Worthy Cause
At the request of Leonie Infantry (Mrs. Prentice alongside me in Guess Who's Coming To Dinner in 2018), Diane L. Parker and myself re-created our roles from Fences as part of the inaugural Norma Baynes Memorial Arts Fest, an event honoring the legacy of her dedicated support of mental health and her passion of the arts. The day was a celebration of theatre, dance, singing, poetry, yoga and more hosted by Pastor Kurt Kannemeyer of Danbury, CT and News 12 New Jersey's Carissa Lawson. Mimi Francis, my current co-star in the webseries Soap and Bubbles was also on hand and belted out Route 66 for the crowd. Proceeds benefited the SERV Behavioral Health System, that houses Norma's adult son, and a scholarship in her name to a student enrolled in the InSpira Performing Arts and Cultural Center.
