SHAKESPEARE'S LOST MASTERPIECE

2019 NJACT PERRY AWARD WINNER - OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL PLAY

Uniform Justice - The 2016 Tour

Uniform Justice, the performance piece that explores conflict, crime, violence, law, retaliation, and the desire for justice that are often treated superficially in the media and among political pundits, Is beginning it's 2016 run, and I am honored to bring you a progress report.

Two places where the play has been performed, Upper Manhattan and Montclair, NJ, with the assistance of Intersections International, are in the process of making their own versions oh UJ conducive to their cities (for those that are unaware, our version depicts the lifestyle of Memphis, TN). Although successful bringing Insight Theatre to the audiences as a stage reading, after a tremendous run at the NYC Fringe Festival last summer to outstanding reviews, UJ from here on out will be performed as a full theatre production. For those who have only seen the staged reading, you would be amazed at how much more powerful the production is without the books and podiums. A delegation from Cleveland, OH, Where we took UJ last summer, is coming into NYC to catch our performance, as they continue their blueprint of a Cleveland version of UJ. We are very pleased with our success and ready to start anew as we kick off our 2016 tour with two morning performances for students. Friday, April 15th at Humanities Preparatory Academy Auditorium, 351 W18th Street, NYC at 10:45am

Saturday, April 16th at Cicely Tyson HS Auditorium, East Orange, NJ at 10am Both shows are free admission and open to the general public, however for the NYC show you need to RSVP to be placed on a guest list for the show. you can do so by emailing me at updates@ArthurGregoryPugh.biz Future bookings to follow. On behalf of the cast and Intersections International, we appreciate your continued support.
