Case Closed
In May, Director Sudipta Bhawmik assembled eight actors to tell a tale of a man wrongly labeled as a terrorist. While the actual case is true, Sudipta's account was fictitious, and rivaled anything from a "What If" Marvel comic put together by Stan Lee. The very well thought out account of events captivated audiences at the South Asian Theatre Festival in August and at the historical Edison Valley Playhouse for the past three weekends. Today, The Curious Case of a Casual Terrorist completed its run, and I couldn't be any more proud of what we accomplished. It's tough in this business to come together for four months and then disperse in various directions to your next venture once a run is over, but such is actor's life. I consider myself blessed to have been a part of such a talented cast, and I wish them well as they go forward.
